Hi I’m Erik
My career began with me making 80+ sales calls a day out of a storage closet with 10 other people, while working for a Major League Soccer team in Ohio as a ticket sales rep. But it’s that same experience that makes me appreciate what I do every day now as a senior designer.
My design experiences working in ad agencies in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Oregon have allowed me to hone my skills while working with a variety of clients, ranging from international financial corporations to friends who’ve needed help turning their dreams into reality when starting their own businesses.
I specialize in bringing ideas to life through visual design and user experience. Whether it’s creating social media graphics to drive user engagement with a brand, or mapping out the user flow for subscribing to AI generated email ideas, my goal for every project is to create a true partnership between business owners and design so that the end users get the best possible product or experience.

Created and produced a series of video ads for LaRosa’s 2017 Flatbread Campaign that exceeded all sales goals on social media, while also generating a following of Mark LaRosa in the Cincinnati, OH area.
Art directed and executed multiple visual content series that drove engagement rates across all social media channels for YellaWood, LaRosa’s Pizzeria, and Field & Stream.
Designed and presented visual design and UI kit to Duct Brand for the update of the T-Rex Tape website.
Selected by ownership to be part of the creative team for multiple new business opportunities.

Student Marketing Manager
Worked as student designer focused on branding and event advertisements before being promoted to Student Marketing Manager in spring 2015.
Oversaw six student assistant graphic designers providing area specific training, assigning marketing requests, ensuring that deadlines for projects were met and work was completed to departmental standards.
Implemented a new open critique policy as part of the creative process for student designers.
Was selected as lead creative for the first ever redesign of the Student Union website using DotCMS.
Created a visual design template for interactive touchscreen signage using Four Winds content manager.
